Robert Eaton's double-cut TeleMy name is Robert Eaton. I live in northeast Pennsylvania, and record under the name North Arrow. I've had many, many guitars over the years, but about 15 years ago, I bought a modded '66 Tele and haven't parted with it since.

One of my big influences is BTO. Since I was about 10 years old, I was really into the photo of Tim Bachman playing a double-cut Tele on the BTO II album cover. The only other double Tele, if memory serves me, was an old picture of a young kid playing one with block inlays.

My friend seems to remember it, too, but I can't seem to locate it anywhere.

Now, I know to a lot of people this would be sacrilege, but to modders it should be pretty cool. I also have a reliced-out '52 black Esquire that I put together for under 200 bucks and it just smokes!!

My next project is to make a double-cut with two single coil Lawrence pickups, one in the bridge and one in the mid Nashville position. Just starting, so I don't even know what kind of wood yet. Maybe mahogany.

Well, thanks for the site and keep moddin!!
